Usually I start out with an initial consultation, during which I ask questions about you and your background so I can get to know you a bit better. This is also a time for us both to figure out if we are a good fit for each other. (I need to make sure that I have the skills to help you with your problem, and you need to figure out if I'm someone you feel you can connect with.) If we decide that we are a good fit, then we schedule a weekly time to meet up and talk. We will talk about whatever you want to talk about in our sessions. I believe that whatever needs to be discussed, will be brought up without us having to force it. I have found that this kind of exploration leads clients to develop a greater understanding of themselves, and how they might move forward in life in a way that feels right and true. Services are provided via telehealth to adolescents and adults, ages 13 and up.
